Photo Diary: A Peace Treaty X That's Chic for Local Eclectic

This collection was designed very swiftly when I visited Los Angeles and met with Rachel for the first time. I immediately understood her style and aesthetic; I was sitting in her home and knew right away what type of pieces I should be designing to represent both Rachel and I visually.  Her style is modern, yet very feminine and delicate. I knew I wanted the pieces to encompass all of these qualities. - Dana Arbib of A Peace Treaty

This collaboration has been 6 months in the making. We contacted Rachel Nguyn, the blogger behind That's Chic, in May about working on a limited edition collaboration exclusively for Local Eclectic. We were drawn to Rachel's one of a kind, boundary pushing style and her fuck fashion, tongue in cheek attitude.

Rachel chose A Peace Treaty as the designer she wanted to work with as she'd been a super fan and supporter of the line for some time; the minimal, sculptural and internationally inspired design aesthetic of A Peace Treaty are closely aligned with Rachel's vibe so we couldn't have picked a better pairing.

Dana and Rachel met in June at Rachel's home in LA to start sketching out designs and working through the details of their collaboration. These are photos from their first collaborative meeting where they discussed potential designs, flipped through Dana's current designs and the mood board that Rachel prepared to help inform the direction of the collaboration.
