1 1/2 oz Bourbon
3/4 oz grapefruit juice
3/4 oz honey syrup
1 drop of lavender essential oil
Garnish: citrus peel and cranberries
To make honey syrup: Combine one cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until honey is completely dissolved and remove from the heat. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature before transferring into a jar. Makes about 1 1/2 cups of syrup. (Syrup will refrigerate for one month.)
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish.
