In honor of Valentine’s Day and to kick off our collaboration with Bia Yapp, the creative behind LA floral boutique Bia Blooms, we asked floral designers across the country to share their recommendations for the perfect date night in their city. Whether you’re starting with coffee or cocktails and no matter the choice of cuisine, we can confirm that all the best date nights end with flowers and jewelry!
LA: Bia Yapp of Bia Blooms
Coffee from: Paradocs Coffee & Tea
Start your day with something truly delicate and delicious. Paradocs is truly the hidden gem of Los Angeles, a coffee & tea shop that offers the best croissant pastries on planet earth. I stand by that!!
Takeout from: Dumpling House
Two(ish) words. Pan-fried DUMPLINGS. Order to go from Dumpling House if you’re looking for a fun date night meal, that is both filling and flavorful.
Dessert from: Flouring LA
The best way to close out a meal: dessert from Flouring LA. It quite literally never disappoints. I love their fudge brownie and salted chocolate chip cookies. They offer delicious and artistic mixed dessert boxes weekly! Not to mention, they create gorgeous cakes for events of any size.

Atlanta: Justin Payne of The J. Madison
Drinks from: The James Room
No better way to break the ice than over a carefully curated drink menu and some delicious small bites. Even carrying an amazing wine selection, there is truly something for everyone and I personally cannot get enough of this place. The 'Sidecar' is my personal favorite!
Takeout from: Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
Southern comfort in the middle of the city. Do yourself a favor and order the "Fried Chicken Sandwich" with white bbq sauce and pimento cheese *Chefs Kiss*. The staff energy and aesthetic of the entire "glam campfire" themed restaurant is truly an experience.
Dessert from: Butter & Cream
Flavors galore! The sweetest way to end the perfect date night. I am a classic vanilla kind of guy, but sample a few of their housemade creations and grab a seat at their outdoor patio and picnic tables and I am sure you will fall in love!
Flowers from: @TheJMadison
Order your fresh blooms from @TheJMadison. When ordering you’ll be asked to describe the recipient. All arrangements are one of a kind and no design is ever duplicated. It truly will be yours forever. Available for delivery inside and outside the Atlanta perimeter.
New York: Ryan Norville of Oat Cinnamon
Coffee from: Sincerely Tommy Coffee
Sincerely Tommy is a neighborhood favorite not only for their great coffee and pastries, but the way their team fosters community in Bed-Stuy. Come by for an iced chai, but stay for their curated boutique in the back of the shop with a great selection of small designers and unique homewares.
Takeout from: Saraghina
Also a local Bed-Stuy favorite, Saraghina offers some of the best pizza I've ever had. Not to be dramatic but several friends have told us it was life-changing after we introduced them to it. Order the Capocollo and add hot chilli oil and honey on top. If you're around the neighborhood in the morning, their bakery around the corner is a must-visit as well.
Dessert from: Petee's Pie Company
I was first introduced to Petee's Pie after a friend had some delivered right after I had a baby and I've been hooked ever since. While I am not usually big on pie, (besides my great grandma's sweet potato pie) Petee's makes some interesting and delicious flavors and has the most amazing vanilla bean ice cream.
Flowers From: @OatCinnamon
You can order fresh flowers via the Oat Cinnamon website for delivery all over Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan!
New Orleans: Sara Perez-Ekanger of Antigua Floral
Drinks from: The Chloe
Start your evening with drinks at the Chloe! You can sit on the front porch and watch the charming street cars roll down St. Charles. Their cocktails menu is pretty incredible, but make sure to order the Punxsutawney Feeling. Hard to pronounce, but you'll never forget this drink. Legendary!
Takeout from: Blue Giant
Who doesn't like Chinese take out? This one is a personal favorite and is on a whole new level! Especially the Dan Dan Noodles because daaaaaaaaaammmmn they good!
Dessert from: Cafe Beignets
Keeping it classy with a New Orleans traditional beignet. This is a cute cafe spot located on the historical Royal street. Grab this treat and take a stroll down in the French Quarter.

Chicago: Zenia Ruiz of Flor Del Monte
Coffee from: Cafe Jumping Bean
Visit this caffeine haven surrounded by art and awesome staff making you feel at home. Grab an Americano for day date energy or a rich Choco espresso for a delicious treat on an evening walk.
Takeout from: 5 Rabanitos
The spot for comfort food estilo mexicano. The cochinita pibil torta and tacos al pastor with a side of fresh guacamole make for an amazing meal to share. Snap a pic in front of the vibrant mural on the building for a sweet memory.
Dessert from: Aya Pastry
Enjoy delectable pastries worthy of all the accolades, the season inspired cream puffs are bites of heaven. Create a box with a variety of yummy treats, don’t forget the raspberry galette!
