OOAK Premade Rings

I would like to get this ring resized. How do I do that?

Please select the “Resize” option when adding to cart (depending on the ring, there may be an additional charge on this). You will receive an email from hello@localeclectic.com after purchase to ask what size you’d like to have the ring resized to. If you do not see an email,please check your spam or promotional folders, or reach out to us directly with your desired ring size!


If you have selected this option and do not respond back to us on a desired resize within 7 business days, we will ship the ring out as is.


Alternatively, you can also get the ring resized by a local jeweler after shipment.


Please note that all ring resizing (by us or by a third party) will make your ring purchase final sale (no refunds or exchanges).

How long will it take to get the ring resized?

We estimate it will take approximately 2 weeks from the date you confirm your desired size.

Can I get a refund or exchange?

All OOAK rings that have not been resized may be refunded if returned within 14 days of delivery and returned in great condition.

OOAK Customizable Settings

Can I get the setting in another metal?

Yes! The default pricing is for yellow gold, but you can purchase settings in white gold, rose gold and platinum. There may be an upcharge that will be quoted along with the stone(s) chosen.

I purchased a setting. What next?

You will receive an email from custom@localeclectic.com with the following information:

- A link to a form to fill out before your consultation (such as stone preference, budget, etc)
- A link to schedule your consultation with a member of the Local Eclectic design team

After your consultation, you’ll receive options on stones. We will send an additional invoice for the stone selection if approved. Once the ring has gone into production, both the setting and stone(s) will be final sale and cannot be refunded.

Can I get a refund on the setting if I don’t like the gemstone options?

If you are not happy with final stone choices/quotes that are provided, we will refund your fee for the setting. After the stone(s) has been approved and paid for, the setting and the stone(s) are nonrefundable.

How long does the process take?

Once the stone(s) has been sourced and the invoice is approved/paid, it will take 6-8 weeks to complete a ring.

Do I own my design?

All settings and final ring designs are the property of Local Eclectic.

Loose Gemstones

Do I have to have a consultation when I purchase the stone?

No! After your purchase, you will get an email from custom@localeclectic.com asking if you want a consultation. You may choose to forgo your consultation and have the gemstone shipped directly to you.

I purchased a loose gemstone. What next?

You will receive an email from custom@localeclectic.com with the following information:


- A link to a form to fill out before your consultation (such as stone preference, budget, etc)

- A link to schedule your consultation with a member of the Local Eclectic design team

- If you do not need a consultation, you may waive it and have the stone shipped directly to you


If you choose to design a custom ring with your stone, the next step will be for the Local Eclectic team to design a CAD and get a quote for the final ring. We will send an additional invoice for 50% of the final quote if the design is approved. The remainder is due prior to shipment.

Do I own my design?

All settings and final ring designs are the property of Local Eclectic.

Can I get a refund on my loose gemstone purchase?

The following is the refund policy on loose gemstones:


- Purchase with a consultation - gemstone may be refunded to the original method of payment 14 days after the consultation (provided that the consultation is scheduled in a timely manner after purchase). Store credit will be issued if the purchase is canceled within 15-90 days after consultation. Gemstone will be final sale (no refunds) after the custom ring has gone into production.

- Purchase without a consultation - gemstone will be final sale (no refunds) after shipment.

What if I want to buy both an OOAK setting and a loose gemstone?

We will do our best to see if the setting and the gemstone can be put together, but we cannot guarantee that outcome. Please note on your consultation notes whether you want to prioritize the gemstone or the setting.

International

Can my OOAK items be shipped internationally?

Due to various customs regulations, we cannot currently ship OOAK rings to Brazil, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico , Russia, Portugal, and Switzerland. Other countries may also be excluded from shipment depending on the stone selected, we will notify you if it’s not possible to ship to your destination.

Are shipping, duties, etc. included in the quote for customizable settings/stones?

No, the quote provided after the consultation includes only the cost of the jewelry item in US dollars. It does not include any other costs such as shipping, handling and duties.
